The Ultimate Truth – Illusion To Reality

Purusha: The entire knowledge is contained within you. I want to know each and everything that you know. Share this wisdom with me, not for myself, but for the benefit of humanity and all living creatures.

Prakriti: Why are you so obsessed with yourself and other living creatures? What about non-living things? Aren’t they part of this Earth too?

Purusha: Yes, they are. But they cannot think like us.

Prakriti: Who asked you to think about anything? Is it under your control to decide whether you should think or not?

Purusha: You’re right. But if we have the capability to think, why shouldn’t we?

Prakriti: It is impossible to know everything.

Purusha: Why?

Prakriti: Because even I don’t know what exactly this creation is.

PurushaThen who can tell me? Will we ever know through our own logical reasoning and capabilities?

PrakritiEven a hypothetical being with all-knowing capabilities couldn’t do that.

Purusha: How?

Prakriti: If a fish tries to understand the ocean, will she ever succeed?

Purusha: If she tries to, why not?

Prakriti: It’s not about trying. It’s about accepting the reality of existence.

Purusha: I didn’t understand.

Prakriti: The fish is made of the same material as the ocean. The ocean contains everything needed for the creation, sustenance, and survival of the fish. However, the fish can only name the most fundamental aspects of the ocean; she cannot fully comprehend it because knowledge itself came into existence due to that unmanifested fundamental material. If knowledge emerged after the manifestation of that material, how can you know something that existed before, remains unaffected, and lies outside the boundaries of the knowing and the knower?

Purusha: So, you’re saying that our understanding is inherently limited by the nature of our existence?

Prakriti: Precisely. Our knowledge is bound by the confines of our experience and the material world we inhabit.

Purusha: But if we are part of this universe, isn’t there a way for us to transcend these limitations?

Prakriti: Transcendence is a concept born from our limitations. We seek to go beyond because we are limited. However, true transcendence might lie in embracing our limitations rather than overcoming them.

Purusha: Are you suggesting that acceptance is the key to wisdom?

Prakriti: Not everything should be accepted as it is. Many things are illusive which makes you doubt about your own logics and reasonings. But, Acceptance allows us to see things as they are, without the distortions of our desires and fears. It opens the door to a deeper understanding that goes beyond mere knowledge.

Purusha: But how do we achieve this acceptance? It seems illusive.

Prakriti: It begins with mindfulness and self-awareness. By observing our thoughts and emotions without attachment, we can start to see the true nature of our existence.

Purusha: I am grateful to you. Your wisdom has illuminated many things for me.

Prakriti: Remember, the answers lie within you. Continue to seek, but also take time to be still and listen. The universe speaks in silence, audible only to the seekers…
